About Rebecca's Practice

Rebecca Reist maintains a practice focused on representing and counseling employers in a wide range of labor and employment matters. Her practice involves representing employers against claims related to discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and wage and hour issues in state and federal courts, mediation, and arbitration. Rebecca also provides counseling and advice to employers on employee handbooks and policies, non-compete agreements, and employment-related laws, such as Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), as well as state and local employment laws.

Additionally, she conducts investigations on behalf of employers into employee complaints, and when businesses are exploring a merger, acquisition, or other major corporate transaction, she provides due diligence on employment issues.

Rebecca previously served as a law clerk for the Honorable Joel H. Slomsky in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.  During law school, she was a student works editor and staff writer for the Villanova Law Review and a co-founder of the Education Law Society.
