| Ralph F. Abbott (Full bio), Jr. has been a member of the firm since 1975. He is a cum laude graduate of Boston College and received his Juris Doctor degree from the Cornell Law School. Ralph has spent his career representing management in labor relations and employment-related matters. In addition to providing employment-related advice to employers, he assists clients in remaining union-free and representing employers before the National Labor Relations Board. He also has extensive experience negotiating collective bargaining agreements and representing employers at arbitration hearings and before other state and federal agencies. Ralph is listed as a Notable Practitioner for Labor and Employment Law in Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business (2008). He is also listed in The Best Lawyers in America and was selected for inclusion in the Twentieth Anniversary edition of The Best Lawyers in America since he has been included in the esteemed list for twenty years. Ralph has served on the Labor Lawyers Advisory Committee of CUE (Council for a Union-Free Environment) and was Chairman of the committee in 1991-1992. | Susan G. Fentin (Full bio)is a partner with Skoler, Abbott & Presser, P.C., and practices in the firm's Springfield, Massachusetts, office. She joined the firm in 1999 after spending several years in the Labor and Employment Department of a large Hartford, Connecticut, law firm and was made a partner of the firm in 2004. She is a magna cum laude graduate of Western New England Law School, where she was Editor in Chief of the Western New England Law Review. Prior to entering private practice, she served as a clerk to the Honorable John M. Greaney, Associate Justice of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court. She is a graduate of Wellesley College, Wellesley, Massachusetts. Before attending law school, Susan had a career in business and owned and operated her own company, giving her unique insight into the employment problems faced by business owners. Susan is Associate Editor of the Massachusetts Employment Law Letter. Susan speaks annually at the M. Lee Smith Publisher’s Advanced Employment Issues Symposium and also is a frequent presenter in webinars sponsored by M. Lee Smith. She is experienced in both labor law and employment litigation, speaks frequently to Employer Associations on employment law topics, and is a contributing author to Workplace Privacy. | Marylou V. Fabbo (Full bio), a partner with Skoler, Abbott & Presser, P.C., joined the firm in 1995 and became a member in 2001. Her practice is concentrated in employment law with an emphasis on employment litigation. She has successfully defended employers in civil actions involving every area of employment law including sexual harassment, discrimination, wage and hour, FMLA, breach of contract, and wrongful discharge. For several years, she was an adjunct faculty member at Western New England College School of Law she is a frequent speaker on employment-related legal topics for a wide variety of associations and organizations. | Jasmin M. Rojas (Full bio) is an associate with Skoler, Abbott & Presser, P.C., and practices in the firm’s Springfield, Massachusetts, office. She joined the firm in 2011. Prior to attending law school, she worked in the mental health field where she worked for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and was an assistant director at a local mental health agency. She is a graduate of Bowdoin College, where she was named a Sarah and James Bowdoin Scholar, and received her Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from Western New England Law School in 2009. After graduating from law school, Jasmin served as a law clerk to the Judges of the Connecticut Superior Court, where she assisted in various complex matters of first impression. Following her clerkship, she practiced at a Connecticut-based law firm that specialized in management-side labor and employment law. Jasmin is a regular contributor to business publications and to the Massachusetts Employment Law Letter. She also is a frequent speaker on employment-related legal topics for a wide variety of associations and organizations. Specifically, Jasmin specializes in providing sexual harassment training for employers that addresses ever changing issues such as social media. | John S. Gannon (Full bio) is an associate with Skoler, Abbott & Presser, P.C., and practices in the firm’s Springfield, Massachusetts, office. He joined the firm in 2011. Prior to joining the firm, he served as a judicial clerk to The Honorable David M. Borden and George D. Stoughton at the Connecticut Appellate Court. He is a graduate of Boston College, and received his Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from Western New England Law School in 2009, where he was the Note Editor and a staff member of the Western New England Law Review. | Timothy F. Murphy (Full bio) is a partner with Skoler, Abbott & Presser, P.C., and practices in the firm’s Springfield, Massachusetts, office. He joined the firm in 2001 and became a member in 2007. Prior to joining the firm, he served as General Counsel to an area labor union, worked as an Assistant District Attorney for the Hampden County District Attorney’s Office, and was a litigator for a large defense firm in Springfield. A Springfield native, he is a magna cum laude graduate of American International College in Springfield, and received his Juris Doctor degree from Western New England Law School in 1990. His experience as a union attorney gives him unique insight into complex labor relations matters. He also is an experienced litigator, representing management in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies on matters involving employment discrimination and alleged violations of the myriad of labor and employment laws that affect the employer-employee relationship. | Kimberly A. Klimczuk (Full bio) is a partner with Skoler, Abbott & Presser, P.C., and practices in the firm’s Springfield, Massachusetts, office. She joined the firm in 2004 and became a member in 2011. Prior to joining the firm, she worked as a paralegal in a labor and employment law firm in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; she was a law clerk there in the summer of 2002. She is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, and received her Juris Doctor degree from Duke University School of Law in 2004. Her practice is concentrated in labor law and employment litigation. She has experience negotiating collective bargaining agreements and advising on contract interpretation. She has successfully defended clients in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies in a variety of areas of employment law, including wage/hour law, discrimination, harassment, wrongful discharge, breach of contract, and workers’ compensation claims.
