About John's Practice

John C. Petrella is Chair of the Employment Law & Litigation Practice Group. He handles employment and commercial litigation matters and lectures frequently on employment law matters. He is a member of the Labor and Employment Law section of the New Jersey State Bar Association.

Since 2008, Mr. Petrella has been listed in New York Magazine’s Best Lawyers in the area of Labor and Employment Law.  He has been selected annually since 2009 for inclusion in the New Jersey Super Lawyers List. Mr. Petrella has also been listed in the Best Lawyers in America since 2011 in the areas of Management for Employment Law and Labor Law.

Mr. Petrella earned his Juris Doctor degree from Boston University School of Law in 1988, and his bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Geneseo, magna cum laude, in 1985.
