About Bernard's Practice

Bernard J. DiMuro is the managing partner of the Alexandria law firm of DiMuroGinsberg P.C. He is a former President of the Virginia State Bar and is widely known for his expertise in business litigation, legal ethics, and professional responsibility.   Mr. DiMuro represents corporate clients in complex civil litigation before both federal and state courts and administrative tribunals in the areas of business torts, corporate law, employment law, product liability, professional liability, and defamation. He represents employers in all aspects of federal and state discrimination and employment laws, ranging from federal claims for sexual harassment, age, sex, and disability discrimination, fair labor standards and whistleblowing to common law employment claims including wrongful discharge, defamation, negligent hiring and retention, and privacy rights.

Mr. DiMuro is a current delegate to the American Bar Association and a member of the Fellows of the American Bar, The Litigation Counsel of America and The Virginia Law Foundation.   He has been listed as a “Best Lawyer” in commercial litigation since 2012 by The Best Lawyers of America and named a Legal Elite in civil litigation by Virginia Business Magazine since 2008.
