Jeanne Matthews Bender (Full bio), partner in the firm, represents commercial and non-profit employers in a variety of employment matters including wage and hour claims, disability and discrimination, breach of contract, wrongful discharge, unemployment, and insurance coverage matters.
Elizabeth A. Nedrow (Full bio) is a Montana native who has been with Holland & Hart LLP since 1995 and is currently Chair of the firm's Employee Benefits practice group. She advises employers in all aspects of employee benefits from pension plans (including the unique area of employee stock ownership plans) to welfare plans and executive compensation plans. She interprets and applies all aspects of federal laws affecting benefits including ERISA, the Tax Code, HIPAA, COBRA and the FMLA. Ms. Nedrow has guided clients through the IRS and DOL correction programs, and is also available to assist with plan audits. She designs and implements cafeteria plans, often including flexible spending arrangements. Ms. Nedrow has extensive experience with business transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, and counsels both buyers and sellers on the handling of their employees' benefits in such matters.
Jason S. Ritchie (Full bio) is an associate with Holland & Hart LLP and practices in the firm's Billings office. He has represented and advised employers in several areas, including claims of wrongful discharge, harassment, discrimination, breach of employment contract, and claims arising under the ADA, Montana Human Rights Act, FMLA, and the National Rehabilitation Act. Jason has also represented various commercial clients in contract disputes, real estate litigation, and environmental litigation. Jason advises clients on employment matters, and has given a number of seminars on wrongful discharge, discrimination, and related topics. Jason has represented clients in both state and federal court in Montana, and before the Montana Human Rights Commission, the Montana Supreme Court, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
