H. Mark Adams (Full bio) established Jones Walker's Labor Relations and Employment Law practice and served as its Chair until 2006. He also served as a member of Jones Walker's Executive Committee from 2001 to 2006. For the past four years Jones Walker's Labor Relations and Employment practice has received a "number one" ranking from Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business. Mr. Adams has defended employers for more than twenty-five years before federal and state courts, agencies, and arbitrators. He also counsels employers on the development of effective human resource policies, procedures, and programs; practical and preventive strategies for dealing with human resource issues such as screening and hiring, workplace investigations, discipline and termination, labor organizing, and collective bargaining; and creative solutions for labor and employment issues arising from mergers and acquisitions and business reorganizations. Mr. Adams is a frequent speaker at national and regional seminars and conferences and is the author of numerous papers and articles for professional and trade journals.

Anderson (Full bio) defends employers in civil rights and other employment-related litigation, including litigation under Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and their state law counterparts.
Ms. Anderson also represents employers involved in administrative proceedings before the EEOC and similar state agencies. Ms. Anderson devotes a large part of her practice to counseling employers on the development and administration of sound policies and practices to minimize exposure to litigation, and training management-level employees on various aspects of labor and employment law.
Ms. Anderson speaks frequently at seminars designed for employers and management concerning these and other aspects of labor and employment law.

Since 2001, Jennifer Faroldi Kogos (Full bio) has defended employers in employment litigation matters, including litigation under Title VII, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and state law counterparts.
In addition to experience before federal and state courts, Ms. Kogos represents employers before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and related state agencies. Drafting employers' policies, handbooks, and employment agreements also constitutes a large part of Ms. Kogos' practice. Ms. Kogos also counsels employers on avoiding litigation by creating and implementing effective policies and procedures that comply with the law, as well as promote consistent and fair treatment of all employees.
Ms. Kogos has presented seminars to Human Resources professionals on a variety of employment-related topics.
