He has tried numerous cases before the NLRB and in federal and state court and represented employers before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Dave frequently lectures on labor and equal employment opportunity law and state-related subjects for the Society for Human Resource Management, employer groups, and state and local chambers of commerce. Dave has served as the American Bar Association’s regional representative to the Committee on Liaison with the EEOC. He is the past chairman of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia. He is a member of the Atlanta Bar Association; the American Bar Association, Labor and Employment Law Section; the Supreme Court of the United States; and Lawyers Club of Atlanta. Dave is also a member of the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce’s Board of Advisors and Economic Development Committee. Dave was contributing attorney to the treatise "How Arbitration Works" published by the Bureau of National Affairs and is editor of Georgia Employment Law Letter, a monthly newsletter on employment law developments in the state. He is also the author of the book How to Avoid Legal Pitfalls in Hiring and Firing in Georgia. Dave is listed in The Best Lawyers In America for labor and employment law and Who's Who Legal USA, and he was named in "Georgia Super Lawyers" for labor and employment in 2004 and 2005. He also received Martindale Hubbell's highest peer review rating (AV). Prior to entering the practice of law in Atlanta, Dave was an assistant professor at the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia. David C. Hagaman (Full bio) is a partner with Ford & Harrison LLP. He was admitted to the Bar, 1973. He attended the University of Georgia (A.B., 1969; J.D., 1973).
Reneé A. Canody (Full bio) represents management in labor and employment matters with a focus on employment litigation and human resources advice and counseling. Before practicing with Ford & Harrison LLP, Reneé served as Law Clerk for the Honorable Norman K. Moon, U.S. District Court, Western District of Virginia. Earlier in her career, Reneé served as an International Trade Representative for banking customers. She earned her B.A. and J.D. from Wake Forest University.
Raanon Gal (Full bio) focuses his practice on employment litigation, with a primary focus on Title VII, ADA, ADEA, USERRA, and state law discrimination cases. His practice also encompasses all areas relating to the counseling, training and representation of management clients in federal and state courts, as well as before state and local agencies. He earned his B.A. from University of Florida and J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School.
